One of the big reasons for SEAT’s excellent sales success in Ireland is down to our ever-growing SUV range, which grew again in 2019 with the arrival of the new SEAT Tarraco.
At our SEAT showroom in Enniscorthy we’ve seen first-hand more customer interest in SUVs and 7-seat family cars like our new SEAT Tarraco. So why should you be checking out the Tarraco if you are in the market for a large family car?
1. Style straight from Barcelona!
Once upon a time if you needed a large seven-seater, you would have to sacrifice a lot of style and drive a dull but practical MPV. Developed under the Barcelona sunshine and made in Wolfsburg, the SEAT Tarraco combines Spanish design flair with German quality engineering in a way that’s rare in the large 7-seat SUV segment. 18” alloys and LED headlights with SEAT’s triangular signature design come as standard, while the full width light signature at the rear with dynamic indicators makes this one of the
most stylish large SUVs on Irish roads.
2. Premium features mean more for less
Available from €36,450, SEAT has piled on the equipment and premium features in the new SEAT Tarraco. A high level of specification includes high-end features like an electrically powered tailgate, digital cockpit, LED interior ambient lighting, keyless start, parking camera, and tri zone climate control to keep everybody cool!
3. 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating
Keeping your family safe is a top priority and it’s reassuring to know that the new Tarraco received the top score in crash tests. It has a suite of safety features as standard including a full complement of airbags, lane assist, tiredness recognition and seatbelt reminders.
4. It’s super practical and flexible
The Tarraco 7-seat SUV has loads of interior space. Isofix child seat points are fitted to the two outer seats in the middle row, as well as the passenger seat in the front. The middle row seats can also slide forward and back. When not in use, the two extra seats in the rear can fold into the boot floor. There are two USB ports up front and one in the rear to connect devices and charge smartphones. Folding tables are also included for the kids in row 2.
5. The boot is huge
The Tarraco’s boot is good for just about anything! There’s a wide opening and over 700 litres of space available in five seat mode.
6. Comfortable and composed drive
The Tarraco is one of the best large SUVs to drive. It’s agile in town but very comfortable for long journeys. Choose an automatic for even more comfort behind the wheel. The latest petrol and diesel engines are available offering superb performance and economy, while a plug-in hybrid will soon be available. The option of four wheel drive makes the Tarraco ideal for towing and more traction on slippery surfaces.
7. It’s an award winner
